22nd IPL Match, Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore: Finally, Chennai Super Kings break their losing streak. Chennai Super Kings register their first victory in the league. They won the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 23 runs. Royal Challengers could not beat Chennai Super Kings the target of 216 runs at 4 wickets. In the initial matches of the league, Chennai Super Kings lost four matches in a row. 

Indian Premier League Match: Chennai Super Kings Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

On Tuesday, Chennai Super Kings locked horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chennai Super Kings won for the first time in the league. The toss took place and Chennai Super Kings elected for Batting first. They made 216 runs at 4 wickets. Robin Uthappa smashed 88 runs and Shivam Dubey hit 95 runs for Chennai Super Kings. Both the batsmen made hard work for Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers as they appeared asking for water while delivering the balls.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Innings For The Match: 

From the beginning, match results were in favor of Chennai Super Kings. As they started with the right foot. They performed startling in batting as well as fielding against Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, In the prior IPL match, Royal Challengers faced hard luck from the beginning. Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis smashed only 8 runs and lost his wicket. Even Virat Kohli lost his wicket in the beginning as he tried to hit a big shot. Royal Challengers Bangalore lost their four wickets in 50 runs. 

Further, Suyash Prabhudesai and Shahbaz Ahmed tried their level best to bring the team back on track to win the match. Unfortunately, their efforts did not fall in the favor of the team as they also lost their wickets as well. Further, Dinesh Karthik tried the same and lost his wicket after smashing 34 runs. When they lost Dinesh’s wicket, it seemed harder for Bangalore to register the win against Chennai Super Kings. 

First Wicket- Faf du Plessis made 8 runs 

Second wicket- Virat Kohli lost their wicket after smashing 1 run.

Third Wicket- Anuj Rawat made 12 runs and then lost his wicket. 

Fourth Wicket: Glenn Maxwell made 26 runs and like this, the team lost 9 wickets. 

Chennai Super Kings Innings: 

Chennai Super Kings started the match on the right foot. As they performed startling in fielding as well as batting. The team lost two wickets in the initial innings at 36 runs. The duo, Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dubey smashed 165 runs together in just 74 balls. The duo turned the match in their favor. Robin scored 88 runs in his innings. Chennai Super Kings gave the target of 216 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
