IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans: The Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya has smashed his first half-century for the IPL 2022 season. On Monday, April 11, his team anguished their initial loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Skipper and Captain Hardik lost their calm numerous times during the loss which drew fans’ attention on social media. Hardik was viewed as misusing Gujarat Titans teammates Sai Sudarshan and Mohammed Shami for their mistakes on the field. The 28-year-old all-rounder initially refused the DRS call which could have furthered SRH captain Kane Williamson’s innings. He was also seen ranting at Sai Sudharsan for allowing a simple two and Mohammed Shami for not trying a catch.

Gujarat Titans Captain: Hardik Pandya

Gujarat Titans fans felt Pandya himself was accountable for the team’s loss as they perceived his slow batting and refusing the review of Williamson’s LBW call disappointed them badly. They also presumed that the all-rounder should not be in dispute to be in the leadership group of the Indian team.

Even a few fans perceive Hardik to be the same as brother Krunal Pandya. The captain underwent a fight with Baroda teammate Deepak Hooda while the two participated in the domestic tournament. Krunal and Deepak Hooda found a way to be cordial with each other after they both became part of Lucknow SuperGiants.

At the same time, Gujarat Titans pacer Shami stated that his role in the team is an exceptionally essential one. He captivates wickets early on with the new ball. In IPL 2022, Shami has been the leading wicket-taker for the team. He took hold of six wickets in three matches at an average rate of 15.16. His economy rate is 7.58. He becomes a pivot cog in the wheel for Gujarat Titans to be the lone undefeated team in the tournament.

It is very essential to why not keep your best choices forward for taking wickets.

When questioned about a change in targeting line or length from Test series and ODIs to T20s. Shami stated that a few times they undergo a mood with red balls in Test matches.   They have to focus their length on one place or do something similar in 50 overs. However, they undergo a bit too much planning in small parts.
