  • Rajat Patidar’s century
  • 3 catches left by LSG
  • Josh Hazlewood has a chance of a hat-trick but missed it

LSG won the toss as predicted in the previous news due to the dew factor and the same procedure was followed but the results were different. RCB was ready for any situation and they scored a massive score of 207/4 (20 ov). In which batsman Rajat Patidar scored massive 112 runs in just 54 balls has helped RCB.

On the other hand, LSG tried to close the gap and KL Rahul scored 79 runs from 58 balls still there was 14 runs gap that could be filled, and hence, they lost the match. Although RCB was fully prepared for a difficult test and they passed the test with flying colours.

After Match Interview

After the match, KL Rahul as a captain of LSG quotes that “I think it’s quite obvious – the reasons why we didn’t win. We let ourselves down in the field. Dropping easy catches never helps. Difference was obviously Patidar playing such a knock. When someone in the top three scores a hundred, more often the team wins.” This was the direct indication of the LSG players that dropped major catches, including Rajat Patidar’s catch.

Although the LSG team was satisfied with their performance as they were a new franchise and they were happy to finish in the top 4 of the league for the first time. From the LSG bowling lineup, Mohsin Khan was praised for 1/25 (4).  KL Rahul said that “ Mohsin showed everybody how good he is and what skill he possesses. As he grows with confidence, he’ll be able to clock speeds which are much higher. He will learn and develop a few more skills hopefully by next season.”

However, Faf du Plessis was gleeful about the performance of Rajat Patidar. He also quotes that “I am over the moon. For a young guy to play as he did. The way he celebrated also tells you he has a good head on his shoulders. His hundred was one of the best I have seen in the IPL.” Patidar scored 12 hours with a combination of 7 sixes to achieve that personal massive score.

Patidar’s Struggle

Patidar was being ignored in the auction of 2022 and was only picked for the substitution. But, he proved himself that he is better than most of the players, and things that cannot be controlled, he just always ignores.

Most of the experts also spoke of the skills he possessed that none can. He has the ability and tendency to make up the dot balls is one of the strengths that everyone is being inspired by.

There are many sports in the world. Some people likes football, and others likes cricket or basketball. But I love to play cricket because it is a game of gentalman. I am a left-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox bowler. I played an inter-college tournaments. Also, I represented my college cricket team as vice captain. Ms. Dhoni is my idol, and the Chennai Super Kings are my all-time favourite franchise.
