Dwayne Bravo, also known as the SIR champion, is one of the top-tier performers of all time. Even after achieving the age of 38 years, he is a brilliant player. Dwayne’s both bowling and batting styles are right-handed. His fans admire him not only for bowling but for batting as well. He is an all-around player on the field.

Dwayne Bravo made his debut against New Zealand on 16th February 2006 in the international T20. Dwayne’s long-term shooting skills and all-rounder performance has pushed him to the top of the T20 global rankings. He has played in multiple leagues of different nations. Over his list of performances on multiple platforms, he has become an integral part of the Indian Premier League. He played for Lahore Kalandars in Pakistan Super League and Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League. In addition to that Dwayne has been a part of the Chittagong Premier League as well.

The statistics of the player are exceptionally high on figures. He holds a whopping record of 2200 runs and 86 wickets in 40 test matches for West Indies. Bravo is an astonishing leader who has been the captain of his country in all three versions of the game. Nevertheless, being together on multiple occasions Dwayne Bravo and Yuvraj Singh have developed a cordial relationship.

However, Bravo explained recently how Yuvraj Singh influenced Dwayne’s career. Back in the year 2006, Dwayne bowled against Yuvraj in a One Day International match. It was the second ODI with India needing two to win off the last three deliveries. At that point in time, Yuvraj was just seven runs aways from hitting a century.

Afterward, Bravo delivered a wonderful slower yorker that the southpaw failed to connect with. This resulted in the ball crashing into his stumps, giving West Indies a dramatic victory. The ball then smashed through his stumps, giving West Indies a thrilling win over India.

Before the strike, Brian Lara approached Bravo regarding field placement discussions. However, Dwayne was not so sure about what kind of bowl he was going to deliver. “I still hadn’t really thought about what ball to bowl. I am still not clear when I go to the top of my run-up. At some point, before I get to the umpire, I decide I am going to bowl that dipper,” he stated.

Indeed, that day Dwayne Bravo had a career-changing moment when he bowled out Yuvraj Singh. It was not just a win that Dwayne John Bravo had. But it scored West Indies a 4 to 1 win over India during the ODI series.

There are many sports in the world. Some people likes football, and others likes cricket or basketball. But I love to play cricket because it is a game of gentalman. I am a left-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox bowler. I played an inter-college tournaments. Also, I represented my college cricket team as vice captain. Ms. Dhoni is my idol, and the Chennai Super Kings are my all-time favourite franchise.
