Former Indian Women Bowler: On September 25, 1999, Pooja Vastrakar came into this world. Currently, Babulal aka Pooja is 22 years old. Pooja Vastrakar belongs to Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. At this early age, Pooja earned the opportunity to become part of the Women Indian team.

She even played in renowned tournaments: the Women Test series, Women One Day International (ODI), and Women T20I. Pooja represented Shahdol divisional cricket association as a professional cricketer. As for her batting style, she follows the Right-Handed batting style. For her Bowling style, she follows the Right-arm medium bowling style.

Prompt Life Of Pooja Vastrakar:

Pooja Vastrakar gained her interest in cricket during her childhood. She used to play cricket with boys who used to reside near her house. Pooja received her coaching under the supervision of coach Ashutosh Shrivastava. She got underway to her formal training. Pooja began her practice in the stadium under the supervision of her coach.

During her formal practice, her interest inclined towards batting. However, when she joined the Madhya Pradesh Team she made her career in bowling. She earned the opportunity to become part of the India Green Women Squad at an early age. When she joined India Green Women Squad, Pooja was 15 years old. Unfortunately while playing a tournament in 2015, she got hurt during fielding for a senior women’s domestic match.

In that match, Pooja twisted her knee. The twist took a serious turn, as Pooja needed to undergo surgery for that injury. The surgery took place for curing her anterior cruciate ligament tear. Unfortunately, Pooja missed the opportunity of becoming part of the National team. Her career turning point occurred when she took part in the Challenger trophy held in 2018. Because of the tournament, she got an opportunity to become part of The South Africa tour.

Moreover, Pooja’s father used to work as an employee for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). Unfortunately, Pooja lost her mother at a very young age. She was just 10 years old when she lost her. Pooja is the youngest among her seven siblings. Pooja has four sisters and two brothers.

International Statistics: 

Pooja Vastrakar represented India over the International ground. She participated in One Day International (ODI) on February 10, 2018, against South Africa. Pooja took part in One Day International (ODI) on March 27, 2022, against South Africa. She played this year as a part of the Women’s Indian team. 

Pooja Vastrakar took part in 14 Women One Day International (ODI) tournaments. In total, she scored 257 runs in ODI matches. However, Pooja maintained her batting average of 19.76. She delivered 426 balls in the tournament. She took six wickets while playing in ODI matches. Pooja maintained her bowling average of 70.50. 

As for her Test series, she played her first match on June 16, 2021, against England. However, she took part in the last Test Series which took place on September 30, 2021, against Australia. Pooja got a chance to become part of two test series. She made 37 runs. Further, Pooja maintained a startling batting average in the Test series of 12.33. She delivered 244 balls. In the 244 balls, she took 5 wickets. Further, Pooja maintained her bowling average of 23. 

As for her Women T20I, Pooja got a chance to play in the tournament on February 13, 2018, against South Africa. The last match that Pooja participated in took place on February 9, 2022. The last match she played was against New Zealand. Pooja got a chance to become part of twenty-four T20I. She made 157 runs. Further, Pooja maintained a startling batting average in T20I of 19.62. She delivered 357 balls. In the 357 balls, she took 19 wickets. Further, Pooja maintained her bowling average of 20.47.
