IPL 2021 Performance
IPL 2021 was super impressive for Harshal Patel. The Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer took a five-wicket haul and a hat-trick against Mumbai Indians. He put up another splendid show within the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Harshal got wickets of Kane Williamson, Wriddhiman Saha, and Jason Holder to finish with 3/33. This brought his tally of wickets to 29 within the entire season. This is the foremost by any Indian bowler within the history of the IPL. Harshal Patel surpassed the mark of 27 wickets set by Jasprit Bumrah in IPL 2020.
Harshal Patel’s performance couldn’t help Royal Challengers Bangalore as they lost by four runs. However, the win for Sunrisers Hyderabad ensured they didn’t end the season with the smallest number of points within the tournament. Deccan Chargers and Delhi Daredevils set that record at that time. The defeat for Virat Kohli’s team meant that Royal Challengers Bangalore could only finish third and could play within the Eliminator against either Kolkata Knight Riders or Mumbai Indians.
In Conclusion, Harshal is a splendid player with excellent skills. The Royal Challengers Bangalore fans will eagerly wait to see Harshal perform at his best and clutch matches with his wicket-taking skills.
