Therefore, Kuldeep went ahead with Robert Frost’s ‘road less traveled’ – slow left-arm unorthodox, or chinaman.
Henceforth, inspired by two top-tier players Zaheer Khan and Wasim Akram, he decided to become a fast bowler. On his coach’s recommendation, he switched to wrist-spin bowling. However, Kuldeep got limited opportunities to shine. Kuldeep made his name at the 2015 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, where he scored a hat-trick.
After that, Kuldeep never looked back. He has continued to dazzle on the international stage in all forms of cricket.

Kuldeep Yadav broke down into tears during the Indian Premier League 2019 run. Even the upcoming two seasons did not turn out very well. Further ahead, in TATA IPL 2022 Delhi Captains were able to pick up Yadav this year. With a major comeback in the 15th edition of the TATA Indian Premier League, his performance improved. In the match against Mumbai Indians, Kuldeep wowed everybody with a magical 4-wicket haul.

He is the first left-arm wrist-spin bowler to capture wickets in a T20I inning in July 2018. In addition to that, he became the third bowler in T20 International history to achieve a five-wicket haul.
The very same month Kuldeep Yadav accomplished a couple of more records. Yadav recorded a five-wicket haul in a One Day International match. In an ODI, he also set the record for the greatest bowling numbers by a left-arm spinner. Kuldeep did not stop here and went ahead with back-to-back stupendous performances. The rush and urge to prove himself acted as a positive reinforcement for his career.
Once again in the year 2018, Yadav was face to face with West Indies in a test match. Kuldeep collected his first five-wicket haul in a Test match at that venue.
