Former Women Cricketer, Mona Meshram: Her full name appears in documents is Mona Rajesh Meshram. She came into the world on September 30, 1991. Currently, she is 28 years old. Early Life: Mona Meshram 

As a schoolgirl, She formed her interest in Volleyball. When the school she enrolled in required a cricketer for the team, she underwent trials. The talent of Mona, catched eye of the coach under whose supervision trials took place. He recognized her talent, and made her part of the team. 

Though, Mona Meshram remains unsure about being part of the team. But she was not unsure about her gameplay, though she got worried about the additional expenses. Mona’s mother and coach reassured her over a period, after that it led her to where she is now. Mr. Satish Paradkar, her coach, helped her to polish her skills and played a crucial role in her career in the cricket world.

Journey Of Mona Meshram:

Mona received numerous opportunities in her career. She chose the best one for her. Mona became the part of the Indian Women team, as for that season India reached the finals. Unfortunately, The team lost to England in the final of the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup at Lords.

Head coach Tushar Arothe played a vital role in influencing and instructing the girls. Mona, especially, procured a lot of confidence through his pep talks. The environment in the dressing room seems very friendly and apprehension. Coach Arothe stated in an interview that

He will not say that there was an absence of confidence. They seem unsure about their abilities. It became their job to enhance their best through generating confidence, creating a friendly environment, generating match circumstances at practice, and providing them small targets. As Mona became part of the World Cup finalist team, it boosted Mona’s trust in her abilities.

Mona played 26 One Day International (ODI) matches, and made 352 runs in the matches she played. She maintained the average batting rate of 18.52 and strike rate of 53.74. His highest score in One Day International as per stats appears 78 runs. Nevertheless, she received 2 no-balls in the One Day International. She hit 3 times and scored 50s. In the One Day International, she hit 38 times 4s, and 4 times sixes.

I am a left-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox bowler. I played an inter-college tournaments. Also, I represented my college cricket team as vice captain. Ms. Dhoni is my idol, and the Chennai Super Kings are my all-time favourite franchise.
