Indian Women Cricketer, Vootala Sneha Deepthi: On September 10, 1996, Deepthi came into the world. Sneha Deepthi is an Indian Cricketer who became part of Indian Women’s national cricket team. She entered the International tournament by making her international debut in the month of April, 2013. The tournament took place against Bangladesh. At a very young age, She received the opportunity to leave her imprint over International grounds. She received a chance to represent South Zone and Andhra on the domestic grounds.
Sneha Deepthi took birth in 1996 in the region of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. However, she was not interested in any type of sport during her childhood. Further, she began playing gully cricket along with her father and brother. At the advice of her father- he is part of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant as an employee, she began to play the game with complete focus and dedication, and by the time when she was promoted to fourth grade she started taking coaching classes.
Her father turned her dream into reality by enrolling Sneha Deepthi and her younger sister Ramya Deepika to a summer coaching camp. The family shifted from Ukkunagaram (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant) to Pothinamallayya Palem, another suburb of Visakhapatnam, in order to make sure that they get proper and effective training under the guidance of their coach Krishna Rao and utilize all the facilities to its fullest at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.
In 2013, Sneha Deepthi attained the position as the first cricketer from the Andhra women’s cricket team to smash a double century; she scored 203 runs not out against East Godavari in a senior women inter-district match. She received the opportunity to become part of the national team for the 2012–13 season home series against Bangladesh. At the age of 16 years and 204 days, Deepthi attained the chance to become the youngest player to represent the national team in Women’s Twenty20 International cricket.
In August 2015, she smashed 350 runs against Srikakulam, the highest individual score made by a woman cricketer for Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), against Srikakulam in the league match of ACA North Zone inter-district women’s tournament. Also, She took two wickets for four runs in the league.
Sneha Deepthi participated in renowned international tournaments and represented India over the International ground. She participated in One Day International (ODI) on April 12, 2013, against Bangladesh. Unfortunately, She only received the chance to become part of Women One Day International (ODI), only once. She made 4 runs in the match. Further, she made the batting average of 4.
As for her T20I debut, she played her first match on April 2, 2013, against Bangladesh. However, she took part in the last T20I debut which took place on April 5, 2013, against Bangladesh. Sneha got a chance to become part of two women T20I debutants. She made 1 run. Further, Sneha Deepthi made a batting average in the T20I debut of 1.00.

Her memorable inning took place in the 2014-15 season. When her team in Andhra Pradesh were in the Plate Group. After doing well in the league matches, they qualified for the semi-finals. The set up took place against Madhya Pradesh. The wicket on which we played was moist and scoring became very difficult. Having a nature as an aggressive batter, She required to undergo a paradigm shift in her batting approach. She realized that scoring runs was not going to be simple.
In the initial 18 balls, she could not even change her position from the mark. Though, She didn’t lose confidence in herself. She knew She had to be there for her team to land in the finals. She stood there and waited for her chance to smash a huge amount of runs. At the end of the innings, She needed to score 46 runs, which steered her home team. They landed into the finals. That year, they desired to win the championship. Now when She looks back, she realizes the foremost of that innings. Since then, they have maintained their position in the Elite Group.
