Yuzvendra Chahal a.k.a Yuzvendra Singh Chahal is an Indian cricketer and former chess player. He is a part of Haryana in domestic cricket. Chahal’s currently a player for the Rajasthan Royals franchise within the IPL. He represented India in both, at some point, Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and has also represented India internationally in chess. He’s a leg-break bowler. Chahal became the second player and first Indian to require a six-wicket haul in T20I history. Furthermore, he was the primary concussion substitute to be named man of the match in a world match.

Yuzvendra Chahal was also the primary legspinner to select up a fifer as a six-wicket haul during a T20I and had the record for the simplest bowling as a legspinner in T20 International history.
He took the most wickets (23) in T20Is in 2017 by any bowler.
On 18 January 2019, Yuzvendra Chahal took his 2nd at some point International 5 wicket haul by taking 6/42 against Australia. These were the joint-best figures by an Indian bowler vs. Aussies after Ajit Agarkar in 2003/04. These also were the best figures by an Indian spinner at MCG in Australia against Australia. On 4 December 2020, in the first T20I match against Australia, Chahal replaced Ravindra Jadeja when he suffered a concussion. Chahal later recieved Man of the Match, becoming the primary substitute for winning the Man of the match award in a world cricket format.
